Björn Conrad is the CEO and co-founder of Sinolytics and a recognized authority on China's economic, industrial, and technology policy. With nearly two decades of experience, he advises global corporations on China strategy, digital transformation, and the geopolitical dynamics shaping technology and trade.
Björn is also the strategic mind behind Geolytics, Sinolytics' sub-brand dedicated to geopolitical risk and technology statecraft. Geolytics reflects the combined expertise of the Sinolytics team, helping companies anticipate and manage geopolitical disruptions to technology, trade, and supply chains.
Previously, Björn served as Vice President at MERICS, and worked as a China Specialist at the World Bank/GEF in Washington D.C. and UN FAO in Rome, managing projects across nearly all provinces of China. Earlier, he gained consulting experience with Boston Consulting Group (BCG).
Björn holds a Master's degree in Sinology, Economics, and Politics from Trier and Peking University, and a Master of Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School.
