JinHua Yip, Senior Consultant at Sinolytics, analyzes geopolitical and technology-policy developments across China, the United States, Canada, and the wider Asia-Pacific, with a focus on the AI stack, export controls, and government-industry dynamics.
Before joining Sinolytics, JinHua worked in technology-policy and geopolitical-risk consulting at Albright Stonebridge Group, The Scowcroft Group, and Eurasia Group. He also previously worked on international trade and climate policy in the Canadian government and in a Hong Kong-based technology startup.
JinHua holds an M.A. in International Relations from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a B.A. in International Relations from the University of British Columbia, with a minor in Business. He also studied at Sciences Po Paris and speaks English and Mandarin.
